It didn't make a lot of difference on my truck but every vehicle is different. That being said, you may want to make about a 1" correction to your ball mount height.

When figuring the level of your TM, it's best to put your level on a flat area of your trailer tongue. Do NOT put your level on the roof. Your trailer tongue is an extension of the trailer frame and the trailer frame is what you want to be level.
