I don't use hookups, so none of the electric appliances for me. But, I was given a Can Cooker Jr. 6 months ago. It can be used on a stovetop, grill, or a campfire.

Basically, it is supposed to replace a pressure cooker. It cooks food more quickly than a simple kettle. They say it tenderizes meat, but I have not left anything in long enough to notice a tenderizing effect. However, I have left it on long enough to boil it dry a couple times (don't do it!)

I have used it on my camp stove, and my home stovetop, to make many tasty meals. The Website has more recipes on it now than when I got my Can Cooker, so there are lots of ideas there.

I like mine, and will continue to use it.

May not always have hookups but can always run ac/appliances. My morning coffee is important so keep one of these in the TM. Three minutes at 12v/64A takes about 24 minutes for the solar to recharge.

We had to have one, too!! The collapsible bowl that came within it has turned out to be incredibly useful on its own.

We use a stove top percolator. Don't have to wait 24 minutes between cups of coffee.

Seriously though, I prefer the taste of coffee from a percolator than from any drip or Keurig machine. But then, I started roasting and grinding my own coffee too. Don't get me wrong though, I'm no coffee snob. The only reason I'm roasting my own coffee is to have an easy source of dark roast decaf (helps with acid refulx).
