We bought another TrailManor
This one is our 4th and is a lot easier to set-up.
Our 2009 2720SL will be for sale soon. It has 400W of solar and inverter, built-in (fiberglass) 13G black water tank, RV toilet, Plumbing guard. 4.5cf compressor fridge, 2000W inverter, 55Amp Progressive dynamics charger, new (lay-down) propane tanks, under-carriage black-water hose storage, upgraded leveling jacks, list goes on. Haven't quite decided on a price yet.
Anyway, here's our new-to-us TrailManor.

It depends on what the full size trailer does to our gas mileage. Believe it or not, the weight specs on this Elkmont is almost identical to our 2720SL.

I can believe it, but it does sit higher. I have a friend with a big camper...his mileage sucks, gets about 8 miles to the gallon. It loved my first popup camper, since it didn't weigh much and it sat lower than the truck. The TM is still easy to tow and I have more amenities.

Thanks....
I'll still be hanging around.
This Elkmont tows so nice. I towed it 45 miles on the freeway and went 70mph for a short distance and I couldn't even make it sway. The axle is placed so far aft, I don't think that it can sway. It will be interesting to see how it handles once it's loaded up and has 3, 175W solar panels on the roof.
The Elkmont has all the feel and ease of maintenance as the TM folding trailers. We really feel at home in it.

Wow, nice! What year is that Elkmont? For a minute I was thinking they might be making them again.

It's a 2010 24'.
The owner only used it 4 times. The fridge, stove, oven, water heater and furnace look to have never been used. It has a 40G fresh water tank and a 20G black water tank, which is nice.
It was stored outside and the decals on one side are pretty badly burned and the aluminum anodizing (white paint) on the roof is Sun burned to where the raw aluminum is exposed. That's an easy fix.
It still had all of the incandescent bulbs in the lamps which I changed out for LED today.
