Default black tank on a 27210?

Hello,
I'm looking at getting a used 2007 or newer 2720, but would like to install a black tank (15-20 gallons) underneath the floor (as the grey tank is).
I'm wondering if anyone has ever tried this? Does anyone know the dimensions and if it will fit? I've read about the sealand modification (with the tank as part of the toilet and mounts inside), and the cassette toilet options. I'd like to go with the traditional rv toilet setup (black tank underneath).
Thanks for all your help!
Jason

If you get down and peer under the trailer, you will see that there is no place anywhere near the toilet where a black tank will fit. Many have asked, but I know of no one who has tried to do it.

Exception - years ago, one member did find a way to run several feet of 4-inch black plastic pipe around the perimeter of the underside of the trailer, and use that pipe as a black tank. I can't find the post at the moment - it was many years ago - but I don't think we ever had a report of how it worked. I'm not at all sure that it would fully and cleanly drain, leaving "crud" lodged inside. You would have to provide a cap of some sort at the far end, so you could hose it out occasionally.

That's it! Thanks, Dick. I'm especially glad to see that the photos were preserved in post #35 of that thread.
