I've been lurking and learning here for a few months now. I might go to see a 1999 3023 locally:

Most TrailManors I see here are the aluminum framed trailers, which is what I'd prefer. The '99 would probably be wood framed. Most discussions I see here are regarding the newer TM. I am aware that I have to be particularly vigilant when looking for the possibility of wood rot.
What are other's opinions on the older wood framed trailers? Should I just hold out for an aluminum frame trailer? I know one or two of you replaced wood frame members. How difficult was it?
I'm tempted to seriously consider this trailer. It's larger, and it's local. I won't have to worry about import from the US, the exchange rate (which is terrible for us Canadians, but good for you south of the 49th). I am going to try to look at it today anyway. If the interior seems nice and clean, I may take a second look with my family.
