Recommendations for used TM to put a lift in for 15" tires
Todd & Jan from denver co area. Newbies to the forum first post.
First off this is a great forum with oodles of support.
We are interested in acquiring used TM
I noticed some TM model descriptions describing an outside shower...
Does that mean there is not an inside shower?
Or do all TM models have inside showers?
Wife & I are used to boondocking with a old Skamper popup truck camper.
Tired of setting up an outside shower booth to a tree and using a solar pack to heat up some water.
Our favorite camping spots in years passed have been down/up some semi rough roads. Typically Leadville CO areas.. Elevation ~ 10,000 ft. A standard travel trailer would be to tall for us to travel too our favorite get aways.
Looking for recommendations of models to consider purchasing and models to avoid.
Just acquired a 2006 f250 diesel with less than 130k odometer. Researching prudent bullet proofing because of known issues with these rigs.
Sold my 97 f150 gasser and truck popup camper is going up for sale soon.
Thanks for any thoughts to models that would be preferred or should be avoided.

Most (not all) TM's have inside showers.

When I went looking for mine, the 2417 was an optional item and the 16RD was listed as N/A. I viewed 2417 with the option of the bathroom. Made it feel too small for me, and I'm not claustrophobic.
My 2013 came with 15" tires.

I believe all TMs have an indoor shower, although some of the older models, that aren't made anymore and are hard to find anyway, only had a wet bath, or some just had a toilet cabinet. I'm not sure if the outside shower was an optional item, but the fact that some people list it in a sales ad makes me think if perhaps it was just option.
If you do some rough roads, you will want to look for a TM that has a lift kit (optional when purchasing new, at least when I purchased mine in 2005), allowing more ground clearance, and 15" tires.
I don't think there are any models to "avoid", it really comes down to your wants/needs, such as towing/storage length, size of beds, dinette or sofa, etc.

I believe that all TMs, at least 2619 and up, have both an inside and an outside shower. Neither was an option, at least in my memory which goes back to about 2000. It is possible that some models from the 1990s did not follow this rule - my memory does not include the earlier ones.
You could confirm by using The Wayback Machine (web.archive.org).
I will not even try to speak for the smaller models.

I have a 25th Anniversary Edition 2008 Trailmanor 3124KB. Always been garaged when not in use. Lake George, Colorado. Camped a lot in canyon between Vicksburg and clear creek reservoir ( near Granite on US24).

How rough of roads?
It's hard to know what you mean by semi rough roads. I've gone on some rough roads, but I will avoid them now because I had some internal things needing repair after one rough road. This is definitely not one of those off road trailers, but a trailer built for light weight. But the shower in mine is great. Propane hot water if you don't have hookup.

Our 2000 2720SL was never outfitted with an outdoor shower, so presumably that change came sometime later.
