Why is Spam getting through on the forum?

I wonder if the recent spam is coming through Frapper. Any ideas?

Leon, We do appreciate all you do on the forum - in fact all the moderators do a good job as does Chris. We just take it for granted some times and neglect to say "Thanks". So here's a Big THANK YOU! for all you guys do for this forum!

To give an idea of the volume of the problem, estimates vary but it is estimated that 2/3s of all email on the Internet is SPAM. You do not get most of it, because most ISPs have SPAM devices that block most of it. The same people that do that have people who go to these highly utilized forums like this to post SPAM. I am amazed at how well they take care of SPAM here. I have quit using some forum, because the SPAM get overwhelming and does not get taken care of. Keep up the good work Moderatosr and hats off to you!!!

According to the history and demographics, Eniwetok was used, along with its neighbor Bikini, for nuclear testing in the fifties. It was cleaned up in the 70s and now has a population of 820 or so. The Marshall Islands (of which Eniwetok atoll is one), has an estimated 1.5% of the population as internet users, so the total number of internet users on Eniwetok might be somewhere in the teens.
So the entire internet-using population of Eniwetok appears to be attempting to wreak e-havoc on the folding trailer community. Wow, they must be really angry at us!
They must be jealous of our wonderful trip reports since there's nowhere to go on Eniwetok - it's only 6 sq. km in area.

What an interesting story . . . such intrigue! It reads like a Hollywood script. By now many of us are aware that the "help" departments of quite a few franchises are located somewhere over seas. Your patience has paid off and I think you have pinpointed the source of the recent spam episodes.
