Preparing for resale
We're preparing our '01 2720 for resale. Figure new batteries are a must. While we've had it several years, we primarily used it for an annual 400 mile trip. If tread is good, do I need to replace the tires? We're giving it a detailing and system check. Anything else I should be concerned about? Any suggestion where I could get an idea of it's resale value? We're in NorCal. Thanks.

If it has the original rims, I might be tempted to not put new tires on unless they are very old. The future owner might prefer to upgrade to a lift kit and larger wheels.
If you bought this new, check that the torsion bars are still good. The lifetime warrantee is good for the original owner only. Other then that, if itis cleaned up nicely and everything works well, it should sell easily at the right price. When I was in Anaheim this summer, at least one other camper to an interest in the Trailmanor.

The model of toilet is important for boondocking
If your toilet is not original equipment, please be clear about that in the ad for your trailer. Some people replace their Thetford Electra Magic 80 toilet with a different model that can only work with a full hookup, and can't boondock. It would be a shame to put someone who wanted to boondock to the trouble of going to see a trailer that wasn't capable of it.

Thanks. We're not original owners, but the toilet is the original. Tires appear to be in decent enough shape so we'll probably not change them out. Probably haven't put 5000 miles on them.

Personally, I think anything not original should be mentioned in the AD, good or bad. You have no idea what motivates the prospective buyer so full disclosure provides the most helpful information.
