Default Shell Play (movement)

Well, I had much of this in a single thread, but after many visits and no replies, I assume that my original post was too long / overwhelming. So, I've taken the cue and am breaking up the contents:

When going over a bump at an angle (such that the camper is pitched from side to side -as each wheel goes up and over the bump) I get what seems to be significant movement of the shells (side to side). Is this normal, or does it suggest an adjustment is necessary?
