New TM owner....hey all...
Hey all: new to TM. Just parked a 2009 3023 in the back yard. Funny story. I've been looking at TMs for some 2 years and this one just kinda fell out of the sky. Visit dealerships in area and walk around the used lot. The TM was parked in the back at one non TM dealership. They didn't even know they had it. It is bigger than we wanted, but the price was right. Ya know, I think you can hold a barn dance in there. I think it was originally sold in Oklahoma. After some dickering I pulled it home. Came with solar panels. Had two regular sized batteries in pretty bad shape, so changed those out with 27s, which meant I had to weld up a different set of battery trays. Got a few questions but I'll wait until I have a chance to assemble my list and review all the threads here and do some driveway camping before I start asking questions....-rockymtn wonderer-

Welcome to the forum and congrats on getting the best model TM makes, in my completely unbiased opinion of course.
My 3023 fell out of the sky after 2 months, so I was on an accelerated schedule compared to you
Not sure I'm ready to hold a barn dance, but the extra space of the 3023 and the configuration with the two couches is ideal with 2 young-ish kids.
Good luck with the new purchase, and please keep us posted on your progress.

Welcome to the best travel trailer forum and some of the nicest folks you'll ever know and I hope your 3023 didn't land too hard. klpauba is correct. You should subscribe to (that is join) this website. It's only $12 a year, but you'll get all sorts of valuable information that you wouldn't get otherwise. I don't mean to toot my own horn but check out my website. It's on my signature at the bottom of this reply. I have done a bunch of stuff to my 3124KS that might tickle your fancy too. It just goes to show that you can improve on perfection! So a big HOWDY from me! I know you will enjoy your trailmanor...especially at the gas pump!

Welcome to the forum. Lots of good stuff. When you get time and if you'd like to post a thread on the solar with pics PM me and I'll add it to the solar index.
