Pressure & Temp Monitoring solution <$100

I just ordered one of the TST tire pressure and temp monitoring systems from these guys. I have one of their older systems that does not use replaceable batteries and the battery on one is dead. Went to buy another set of senders and found could get the new entire two wheel system for $99 shipped. It is also a little neater design but big plus is replaceable battery in sender. The old system worked flawlessly until the sender battery quit. Being able to set a temp and pressure alarm and then not worry ( as long as no alarms go off) is easily worth $100.

How did you get the $99 price? The smallest system seems to be priced at $159. Thanks.

Look at the 507, its cheaper.

I have used the 507 system for about a year, and it works great. My only complaint is that the monitor does not sit snugly in the dashboard mount. The windshield mount is snug, though. I called the factory to find out what I could do, and got the standard "we've never heard of that happening" response, and no suggestions on how to fix it.

I've lived with it so far, but since I have it permanently mounted in my TV, I gotta come up with a solution, as it vibrates in the mount while on the road. Very annoying.

But so far, it's tire pressure monitoring capabilities are excellent!

Thanks very much for posting this. I think a new sensor on my Doran is $50 when its battery dies, so it's a no brainer to go with this system instead.

I would re-balance the wheel/tire after installed.

Manufacturer claims it is not necessary, however when I had the metal stems installed and the wheels rebalanced, I took the sender with me to have it on the wheel during balancing. The new one weighs almost the same as the old one so I will be OK.

That was my deal. two replacement senders were $ 100 or I could get entire system with 2 senders with replaceable batteries for $99. I had to think about ti for a while but!!!!
