Default Seeking Advice - New Owner

I recently purchased a 2010 2720 from its original owner. They have indicated they've done the core maintenance required. I would like to make sure the TM lasts at least 12 to 15 years and would appreciate any and all advice folks would like to offer on what I should do initially with the unit to make sure all is well and any long term guidance or existing posts I should study.

Thank you for your time,
Jacob B

I would strongly suggest you become a site sponsor and review all of the enormously helpful past threads for maintence. After your trial expires, you'll no longer have access.

Welcome.
Hope you enjoy your TM.
There is a lot of info on this forum.
I'd suggest you join and not only check the threads of interest to you, but just become a regular reader and contributor and you will earn a BS in TM....

Thank you. I noticed you are towing with an Odyssey. Any issues with that? I'm planning on towing now with a Honda Pilot (04).

Talking new owner

Hi Jacob,
We too are new owners of a 2005 2619 Trailmanor. We have been looking for quite some time for just the right one. They are really hard to find here in Texas!! We found ours at Crestview RV in Buda. We too have been looking at the forum and are now registered users, soon to be sponsors. I hope someone will be able to tell me what sort of bike carrier can be put / used on the receiver hitch that came with the trailer. All the ones I looked at are not to be used on travel trailers. We would appreciate any and all help provided.
We are looking forward to many years of camping!!! Congratulations on your ownership!!

Jimmy, probably best to start with a thorough search on your bike rack questions as the subject has pretty much been discussed. When you get things refined a bit you probably will want to ask specific questions. I suspect most every way to haul a bicycle has been used by people on this forum and they will be able to give you some good info.

Odyssey works very well assuming one uses a wd hitch and does not overload.
A number of folks tow with both an Ody and Pilot.
You can use the search feature to find a number of thread on tow vehicles.
TM used an Ody to evaluate the gas mileage impact of towing a TM.

The first thing any new owner should do is go to the hardware store and buy a #1 square head screwdriver. Not a common item in most folks' toolbox and you WILL need it frequently.
