Norcold in DC mode not working
We brought home a 2007 2720QB last night. Been dreaming about owning a Trailmanor since about 2000. Feels great to be an owner.
The Norcold is definitely working in AC mode and pretty sure it's not working in DC mode. Turned the fan on, and made sure the trailer was level. Checked all the fuses in the WFCO. When on AC I can feel heat in the chimney in the back, but not when on DC. Any ideas?

Your referring to the refrigerator? If so, the on board 12v battery won't run it long at all. It may be trying to run but can't due to a low battery.

There is a fuse (one of the colored plastic ones) for the refrig in the converter box. Sounds like you have identified the specific one, and checked it. There is also a glass cylindrical fuse (I think 20 amps) in the back of the refrig. Access it from outside. Let us know.

Bill, Thanks for your help. I did find a glass fuse behind the refrig. It looked fine. It was 3 amp. I couldn't find my tester to test it. In the converter box I couldn't find one labeled refrig, so I checked them all. Is it hidden someplace or something?

The 3-amp fuse is for shore power (120 VAC). The one for 12 VDC operation has much larger rating - the Norcold manual confirms 20 amps. The two fuseholders look identical, and should be very close together. It is crowded and dark in there, so look carefully.
Sounds like a silly question, but is the switch on the front of the refrigerator clearly marked with a position called BATT or a picture of a battery? Not long ago, one of our members discovered that the 12-volt capability was not installed. There was an unmarked switch position, but it did nothing. Again, the Norcold manual confirms that DC operation is optional, though other than the one instance I just mentioned, I have never heard of one where it was not installed..
Can you give us the exact model number of your refrig, including any suffix?

I found the other fuse in the back. Took me a long time to find the first one - like you say crowded and dark, so I used my headlamp. The second one was much easier. Checked it, looked good. (It was 20 amp). Went and got a multimeter to test it. Tested fine. When I was putting it back I noticed the wire connector right above where the fuse connected was broken off. So I went back to the store and bought a connector and re-attached it. I was hopeful maybe that was it, but i still don' think it's working. I'll take it in to the local Trailmanor shop after our maiden voyage. Leaving 6/29/15
The model number is N300.3R. There is a picture of a Battery on the selection knob.

I thought the "R" was a 2-way like mine, no DC just AC and propane.

You do have a 3-way refrig. If you don't have the manual, you can get one at
http://www.thetford.com/wp-content/u...ers-Manual.pdf
Next step is to determine if 12VDC is reaching your refrig. Meter or test light needed.

My mistake: .3 means 3 way, without is 2 way.
