Default Will 15-inch tires fit on a 2619?

[split from a discussion of solar panels while in storage]

- Can I put 15" wheels and tires on my '08 2619 with no modifications?

Thanks........

I'm Getting Ready To Put A Set On My 2008 2720. (Tires/rims mounted ready to go sitting in my garage) I'm Pretty Sure No Modifications Are Needed. (i have the factory 2" lift, I Believe Yours Should Too) I'll Have It Done By Next Weekend.

I have thought about swapping up the the larger wheels, but then it would no longer fit in my garage, because the garage door is 7 feet tall and as it is now I only have a quarter inch of clearance.

Others have done it, as I recall.

Don't forget if you convert to 15" wheels, you will need a slight mod to the spare carrier to accommodate it. There are several post regarding this.

As described in the Tires forum, the new wheels and tires will fit nicely. The remaining question is whether there is sufficient vertical clearance in the wheel well to prevent the top of the new and slightly blargerer tire from hitting the wheel well when the suspension compresses. The answer to that question depends on the specifics of the TM you have.

should answer that question.
