Normally, my answer would be a resounding no. Underpowered and probably undersuspended for the job. But if you are limited to very short trips a couple of times a year in off-traffic time with nothing much steeper than a driveway to negotiate, I'd say go for it. Should be doable with a proper weight distributing hitch. Keep in mind that your vehicle does not have the drive train (think transmission) or proper fluid coolers, unless of course you have a factory installed tow package. Remember that the issue is often not going, but stopping. And if you should decide at a later date you want to lengthen your trips, then you could consider a more substantial tow vehicle.
