I have a 3124KS. It is 4500 lbs fully loaded.

You would need to put everything on a scale and you would need a wdh to some take load off the hitch.

I think you could stay within your towing limits but there won't be a lot "padding."

I tow with a Tundra which has a 7100 lb towing limit. It tows great even under some very demanding conditions.

I had a 2006 4runner w/ V8 towing my 3124ks. I used an 800# wdh. Towing and stopping were not a problem for me. But we never loaded it the TV or the TM with anything more than was necessary. I did have some difficulty on very steep grades, the 4runner didn't have enough to go up a steep incline well. That only happened twice. I have since moved to a Ford F150 with the V6 eccoboost and heavy tow package. It is a world of difference. I believe that the longer wheel base and more power make a significant difference. If steep hills are not in your immediate future I would go for the 3124ks and change the TV when you can.
