Both look difficult to AC. Personally think TM should be evolving the current design, The current modules use vertical rotation and a horizontal front slide. Am thinking a rear horizontal slide with rotation but keeping the hard/insulated sides.

Showy but not practical.

A while back, I spent a half hour talking to a guy with a teardrop while my wife shopped. He loved the unit, but he said the only reason he had it was that his wife refused to camp. At all. Ever. So this was their compromise. He liked to boondock in the Arizona wildlands, and a small trailer let him get there easily, and the size was great for one person. Unless it rained. But it never rains in AZ, right?

In that scenario, I can see it.

I had a Little Guy teardrop for a number of years primarily as a 2nd bedroom/baggage carrier for my RV. Comfortable for sleeping and rear opened up into an outdoor galley. At 440 lbs it was designed to pull behind a motorcycle. Larger ones can be equipped with stove, sink, AC, fridge, and TV.

I just thought they were purty, not practical. Neither is being sold today.
