We just purchased and tried out the BAL leveler. Unfortunately, we couldn't get it to slide around the wheel. We have 14" wheels, within the range called out on the box, but the device just seemed too narrow. I don't know if being parked on grass made a difference?

Any suggestions?
On hard ground I can just fit the BAL under the tire. On soft ground I have to use the stabilizer jacks to slightly lift the side then slide it under the tire.

Default Thanks for idea on BAL leveler

MBushaw, thanks for your idea on the BAL. That sounds pretty logical. Makes me wonder why we didn't think of it!

I used to have one -- would drive that wheel up onto one flat lift/block (one of those yellow plastic ones you use under the stabilizers) and that would make it a piece of cake to slide the BAL in and out for use.

Loved having the BAL, made leveling so easy!

Stopped using the BAL when the screw stripped out in the middle of a rainstorm and I was trying desperately to lower the thing to drive home. Finally got it down working hard with the manual wrench. I blame my own self (had been using an impact driver to raise/lower it and probably damaged the screw) but decided that this was a message for me not to use it anymore.
