Default 30 amp Extension Cord Connector Protection

A search for simple devices to protect the connectors when using a 30 amp extension power cord reveals several good examples. Based on that research I've come up with a version that is easy to make using a small food container. To be sure, there are many variations of this idea and one can opt for a different approach. In my case, the 30 amp extension cord I use needed to have the female connector replaced. I opted for a larger connector which requires a bigger container to protect it from the elements.

Here is the link to the photo album with captions describing the device: https://www.trailmanorowners.com/for...hp?albumid=300
