Replacing To Toilet with just a standard Aqua-Magic hand Flush

I ended up replacing mine with the Dometic SeaLand Traveller M28-711C. The challenge I believe, is that this is no longer available.

Not sure why you are asking the question so maybe a little background would help n why I made the decision.

1. I will admit that the idea of recirculating the polluted water to flush the toilet never sat well with me.

2. I used all the chemicals suggested and there was always a slight order

3. While using the toilet and flushing the order was worse.

4. TM has no way of flushing the black water tank. When I installed the new toilet, I was able to install an external flush that would keep the black water tank clean.

5. My opinion. if you are buying an older TM and there is not a good alternative to changing out the recirculating toilet do not buy.

#5- There are plenty of alternatives including the Dometic SeaLand Traveller. It is in fact still available. Don’t skip out on an otherwise great camper because of the toilet that can easily be upgraded.

I did a quick Google of Sealand Traveller M28-711C and immediately get a couple hits with it in stock, so it is definitely still available. I made the change and have been very happy with it. The toilet is heavy, and weighted to the front, so you have to make sure that your rear attachments are solid, but the install is pretty straightforward. If you search this group you can find a great description of the install process, with photos. It may be on the FB group, I'm not sure.

If you can’t find the C model there are a bunch of places that can spin weld a drain into the bottom. I wish I had thought of that because the non-C model is available in white.
