Default The ultimate piece of dry-camping cooking gear

Did anyone notice that the new Cabela's catalog has the ultimate in food-prep gear? On page 63, there is (yes!) a gasoline-powered blender, in case you really really need a margarita, but you're at a dry campground so your home blender won't work. Why didn't I think of this?

It looks like they hooked up a weed eater and a blender glass. LOL I wonder if it's for real or just somebody's idea of a joke.

Default Gas Powered Blender

My wife took one looks at the recoil starter on that thing and said NO WAY! She does not do anything with a pull starter. Pretty hefty price too!!

Default ultimate piece

I can assure you that the gas powered blenders are for real - a member of our local bicycle club is a hit at after ride festivities as he has had one for years. They make great non alcoholic slushes as well. They work great and make for a good time. That being said, holding on to the one owned by my friend is a little like holding on to a jackhammer! - Camp-2-Canoe

I think as I read this post a beam of light pierced the clouds and lit the blender up with a soft golden hue.

Perfection has finally been achielved!
