Thanks for the catch Mike...
See, I even forgot about the stairs in my checklist :-[ :

Will add your input on the stairs, and will correct the shell latching sequence as well. You're right of course. Latch door side first! My bad!! :P

Anyway, I will update this checklist and have it available if anyone wants a copy - just email me at [email protected] and I'll be happy to email the WORD document to you.

In the section on Interior, you might want to add:

Engage safety latch on refrigerator door.

I've seen this on other lists too, mine is automatic, in that there is no separate latch on the fridge....was this on the pre 2000 year models that have a latch?

The fridge in our 1999 model 2720 has a manual two-position latch.  One position firmly closes the door, the other leaves the door slightly ajar so it can air out when not in use.

Ahh OK, now I know what you are talking about, my Coleman had the fridge like that.  Now they autolock.
