This is more of a tip than a recipe. We fry up a mess of bacon and sausage before we leave on a camping trip. Drain them and place in zip lock bags in the refrig. When making breakfast, only have to reheat the bacon or sausage in the micro and it is as good as fresh cooked - just a whole lot quicker. Cook the eggs etc from scratch.
We used to do that, too, but now I can buy pre-cooked bacon at Sam's club for the same price as uncooked. Makes it so much more handy for breakfast and BLT's, etc.
