More justification to create a thread for solutions to "finding replacements for TM specific parts" Ie if you find someone to fabricate a TMSpecific part you can post your solution. This way others with a similar need can find solutions easier.

Great idea! We've found parts from Ebay to Camping World. A thread like that may really come in handy now.

Last word I got was that Bobby was leaving Carter's for a better position. The other techs do not have his experience with TMs.

I had damage from a microburst this past spring when the awning was up. It basically pushed us up at an angle and off the pads. After trying for two days to adjust the torsion bar system (unlike many on this forum, I'm not very handy) I took my TM to a local auto body shop I trust implicitly. They did a great job and also took care of a little docking error I made with our 22' sailboat a couple of years ago - two things you might not think of an autobody shop for. - camp2canoe
P.S. After that incident I couldn't close the door on the TM and used a 2x6 and scissors jack to raise the aft starboard corner of the upper shell so that I could close the door for the rest of our trip.

Thanks for the heads up, Mike. Hate to hear that about Bobby. Carter's #1 girl had told me a few months ago that she was most likely leaving too. Do you know if she did, as she was always my go-to person there?

Sue left a couple months ago.
FYI
Judging by the quality of the work done on my unit by Carter's this last spring, they will nowbe my last resort for TM repair work in the future.
