We have been using a WIFIX10 for a couple of years now and for our purpose, been satisfied! Cost was $40. The majority of CG's we have been to have hot spots and work well! I am too lazy to go to the hot spot if signal is weak! I can live without FaceBook and email if need be but I do miss The Forum!
I never purchase anything without verifying cost, I guess I just don't like surprises. My final cost was $465.00 so not quite 500.00 after all. I assume the other accessories needed for install may bring the overall cost to 500.00 though.

I think it would have been 395.00 had I not mentioned the price difference I read about here vs the web site. Im OK with Scamp pricing though considering the other distributor Wayne posted is $100.00 more. I don't mind paying for something as long as it is worth it to me & this upgrade is although I can't believe I am having to upgrade the toilet in such an expensive Travel Trailer.

As for Wifi we require internet because we have daily business activities even while on vacation we just can't get away from.

When I received mine, all the accessories were in the box w/toilet! Like you said, they raised the price and forgot to update the web site till you brought it to their attention!

We received our new Sealand & plan on installing it before our Fall Trip.

I noticed there is a Wax Ring that is damaged in the box though. I haven't noticed anyone saying we will use a wax ring though? If it isn't needed as I think I will not ask for a replacement.

I really want to get the new one in but we have too many projects going that have higher priority for now.

I plan on taking lots of pics as long as I don't mess it up that is LOL. If that happens I will forget to take pics LOL.

There is no need for a wax ring! The toilet sets on the tank with a rubber seal and the tank goes through the floor with a threaded PVC union and a neoprene union w/2clamps!

Looks like this may be an option as the top of my Thetford is cracked and front screws broken out of the top. Not much more to replace with the Sealand.

Top of ours has a lot of cracks also, I think we may go to what we used in the pup. A 5 gal bucket with a Lugable Loo snapped on top since ours is used for only #1 at night.

Scamp Trailers has Sealand toilets in stock ready to ship. Call 800 346-4962, ask for Devon at the parts desk. Here is their website: http://www.scamptrailers.com/parts-s...et-detail.html

We don't seem to get accurate info from Dometic.

Hi All,
We just got home from a 9500 mile round trip to NW Washington State! The trip was Awesome but what made it more Awesome is the Sealand Toilet! Its performance was flawless! 40 nights on the road with FHU much of the time and a dose of Happy Camper toilet treatment after each emptying made for an "ODOR FREE" trip! One handle dump and done! The cost is minor once you realize the benefits!
