I just installed the Sealand 711-M28 into my 2002 2720 in May and it is wonderful no bad smells at and it looks like nice too. It only took about 5 hours not working at a constant pace. As I saw in a previous post the price from Scamp went up and they told me it may be going up again at the end of the summer but I think it was well worth the money, I only wish I had installed it 6-years ago when I first got my TM.

I tried something a little different than I read about from other 2720 owners. I used a heat gun and heated the wheel well until it was pliable then I placed the black water tank in place and held it there until it cooled. This process reshaped but did not cut the wheel well and it only pushed it down about a quarter of an inch and was barely noticeable from the outside. I attached a photo of the wheel well after I reshaped it.

I also decided to tap into the water supply in back of the shower going in through the outdoor shower access panel since I had to repair a leak in there anyway. That turned out to be the hardest part of the job since the opening is small and has sharp jagged edges with the access panel removed. Since I was already in that area I also ran my black water vent out that same direction. If you want to make the install easier follow the instructions at the beginning of this post and tap into the fresh water under the sink.

All the suggestions on this site make the Sealand toilet install a breeze and I think it is definitely a great fix for those of you who do not like the Theford toilet.

And the really, really cool part is that you can still utilize full hook-up sites like they are supposed to be used. No poop-toting!

Wayne, if you're reading this thread, how about an update on how well you continue to like your Sealand? I think you are the "longest user," and would appreciate your comments.

After quite a bit of net searching, is my understanding correct, that currently the only place to get the Sealand toilet (with the correct interior floor mounted tank to fit TM space) the one available from Scamp?

I find others for sale but they all seem like either side discharge for boats or they are a 712 model with the 26" wide tank.

We tried other vendors also, but could only find the 1 1/2" connection for marine applications.

Removed Thetford, cut floor and reshaped wheel liner today. Tank and toilet gets installed tomorrow, then its off to find plumbing hardware.

Waited a year to think on it and am finally going for it. I did order from Ardemco and I just called to made sure they were giving me the Sealand 711-M28C with the bottom discharge and they said, "yup glad you called so we sent you the right one."

U mean u actually time your " length of sitting"?
