Okay...I'm now able to access everything on the forum. I'm enjoying reading all the exchanges on solar power. I know I'll be going that route. I just don't know which TM I will buy!

I don't know how far you're willing to travel, but I look at TM for sale postings about every day just out of curiosity, a 2001 2619 went for $4100 on ebay and there is a 2004 2720 SD that just listed in OH at a dealership asking $8995. See, prices can be all over the place, and it can give you some negotiating leverage if you want to pursue the one in your area.

Thanks. Interesting...I had just sent a note to the folks in Ohio about that very TM last night, and got more info on it today. I do wish it were closer to me, though. That looks like a pretty good price for a 2004 2720SD.

We bought a 2003 2720SL in 2007 for $9300. It was in perfect condition. The couple had bought it new to live in while they built a house up here (in Maine). We did get a great price, as he told us when we went to pay for it that he'd received other offers from people who wished they'd gotten to him first. Just thought I'd throw that in to the discussion, since yours is 8 yrs old and ours was only 4 yrs old. We love it, it's great.

You DID get a great price. I can't imagine finding a 4 year old TM in excellent condition for anywhere near that price. By the way, I have a Nissan Pathfinder but am considering a new Frontier. Does your Frontier handle towing the TM with ease?

l am the previous owner of the 2004 2720SD in OH. We traded it in on a 2007 2720SL. The 2720SD is basically in good shape. There is some surface rust on the frame, a small dent at the top of the back center section and there was a small leak around the center ceiling vent in heavy rains. The A/C was rarely used, the bathroom never used (we use the campgrounds facilities) and the tires are about two years old. My wife really preferred the 2720SL layout with the couch and chair so we jumped on the 2007 when we saw it at the dealer.

If you want to know anything about the history of the trailer, let me know.

Hey...thanks cranky1. I appreciate your offer. I did look at the larger photos and could see what appeared to be some areas of rust. All in all, that still seems like a good price for a 2004 2720SD. Now my wife and I are back to discussing which model we like best. We thought we knew a month ago...but now we're not so sure. I'll let you know if I have questions about the Ohio SD.
Thanks again...
