Appliance electrical usage - too much?

You have a 2002, and the water heater has no electric option? My very early build 2002 2720SL certainly did, and I thought the electric capability was added several years before that. What is the model number of your water heater? If it is the Suburban SW6DE, the "E" means "electric". This picture might help.

Last time I turned on the electric water heater, my amp meter showed 15A, with normally 1A due to other stuff in the trailer. Air conditioning is a high priority here in FL, and I don't want to turn it off to run the microwave. So we use propane to heat water, and it is very fast and uses very little gas.

I certainly won't run all three at any time. Overloading electrical circuits over time can cause problems I don't care to deal with.

2002 must have been the transition year, as my 2000 model has propane only.

Yup. Newer HW is propane and/or electric.

My 2001 3124ks has both propane and electric water heater.
