Here is the follow up on my LP gas quick connect situation;
Just to clarify, I am referring to the optional quick connect located outside just in front of the door on my 2720.

The dealer was going to let me know on Monday what male plug I needed to use the gas fitting. No call Monday or Tuesday so this morning I started the research.

I found the name "Gas-Flo" on the quick connector and googled gas -flo, called and it was the wrong company. They instructed me to call Fairview Fittings. Called there and they are actually also Gas-Flo, the one I needed. From there is was a simple matter of describing what I had and measuring the connector and the rep told me I need a part number QD-GMN6-6F male fitting for $6.30 plus shipping. Done. It is being shipped today. If all goes well this will be the end of this saga and I will plug my grille into the TM gas system.
Thank you for all your input. Hopefully this will save others from having to do the research.

Default Quick Connect ocation

I am thinking of installing a Quick connect on my 2004 TM. My question is How did they run the copper tubing, thru the frame or under it, and how do they mount it to the outer underside of the TM? Any help would be appreciated.

Doug

Doug;
There is a tee at the end of the rubber hose from the regulator, just under the front of the trailer. One side of the tee goes to the quick connector via 3/8 copper tube, the other goes to the rest of the appliances. The quick connector is held in place with a metal conduit strap. I have it apart now, but will be reinstalling the connector this weekend and I will get a couple pics showing the installation and post them here.

The dealer I bought my TM from ordered pretty much all the options on it, including the gas grill quick connect. Here's a few pics from underneath TM that might help.

Here are the pics of the propane connection. Mine was factory installed as well. It appears on the other pics that they went to a bracket to hold the connector in place and a built in gas shutoff. Still waiting for the proper male fitting.
