Thanks everyone! I did purge both hot and cold faucets. I am leaning towards the pressure valve or debris in the pump. Hope the snow melts enough to get the trailer up and check more thoroughly. Things were hectic on the trip and the wind was blowing 90 nothing! It was really great to meet so many other Trailmanor owners--saw a lot of great modifications I am dieing to try.

A further update on this water pump issue. I was able to put up the Trailmanor today and fill the water tank. Made sure I closed all spigots and faucets before filling. Carefully purged hot water tank. When I ran water I ran into same problem of waiting a few minutes and the water pump would turn on. So, looked under sink, the water pump is on top of the water tank. Eureka, I see small amount of water coming out of the cold water intake at the bottom of the water heater. Carefully tightened that and cleaned up the water, realizing it had leaked before, but I had not noticed it. I really thought that must be where air was getting into the water heater. DW and I ran errand for about an hour and a half, came back to check the trailer and son of a gun, the water pump is running!! No leaks anywhere that I can see. So, we are going to The Car Show next Friday to have the door alignment checked. Hope that they can exorcise whatever is possessing the water pump and water heater.
