Leak after dumping toilet

I was able to straighten the hold-down bracket a bit to where I was satisfied it would work better, but running into a new issue.
The new seal (which may not be from Thetford) seems too thick! One of the RV shops I called said their tech would get in touch with me. He sent me pictures of the donut he had in his truck. On this forum I've read that most aftermarket donuts are pretty much the same so I met him and exchanged a $10 bill for the part.
After much pushing, with my wife sitting on the seat, I was able to lock the retainers in place, but when she stands up, the toilet raises and rocks on the donut. In the photos, the old seal is on the left and the new one on the right.

It might be worth it to go to the RV store 30 miles away to get the Thetford part! But it probably won't happen until we get back from Philly next week. What's your experience with the thickness of this seal?

The new 33364 SEAL FLANGE THIN PKG (written on the label) that I have is 5/16" thick. My original one is now 4/16" thick, possibly due to compression.

I wish I were able to access our TM, since I have answers and new parts there.

A couple reminders. When you are doing an internet search, be sure that the search phrase includes "Model 80". Thetford made a number of toilets and parts look similar, but are not the same.

The "foam donut" that we are talking about slides onto the exit side of the Slide-EZ valve, and rests on/in the flange on the floor.

The Slide EZ valve also has another black seal on top of it, between the Slide EZ valve and the body of the toilet. Don't confuse the two. I've never known the upper one to need replacement.

Just an update. I bought TWO of the #3364 floor flange seal. As Tim said, it is 5/16" thick vs the 1/2" thick generic part I had, and it works fine! Filled and dumped successfully with no leaks. (Of course this is on a flat surface in my back yard - not going up and down hills to a dump station ).
