I also must give Dave credit, as I did the same, cheap Dual brand black outdoor speakers attached with self-tapping screws, and love them. The only thing I wish I would have waited a bit longer for a blue-tooth enabled stereo, as that would have allowed me to be ultra lazy. I haven't had any problems with them coming loose. Plus, at $20 (on sale on Amazon) for the pair, it isn't the end of the world if they happen to come off or get stolen. Another good thing about the black ones is that they are so hidden, they are almost unnoticeable. Feel free to read the install issue I ran into by referencing the link above, as our fellow TM owners helped me work through a tricky issue .

I started heading away from wired speakers. This changes how I think about a stationary speaker. I have gone to Bluetooth speakers. Picked up 3 different ones. One is water proof to a shower and bath tubs, which I use for kayaking. Another is small and light weight and easy to carry. We bring this one on bike and backpacking for when we want tunes. The third is about the size of a quart of mike and have very good sound. I can put them anywhere. On the picknick table, next to my chair at the fire.

Last few time out with TM we have not used the radio I installed 2 years ago. I have been using my droid and stations and download music from amazon prime.

Default Bluetooth vs. FM Radio Transmission

I have long considered going the Bluetooth route, but I often bring a projector, movie screen, and speakers to the campsite and the Bluetooth audio delay is hard to overcome sometimes.

So my latest idea, an FM transmitter and ask everyone to bring out their FM radios. Yes, I know FM radios are getting harder to find these days, but at least every car still has them, and most travel trailers have them.

I use my FM transmitter that I bought for my Christmas light display, and so far it works awesome. So this was part of the motivation for me mounting the speakers to the frame, and using my FM radio in my TM.

The FM transmitter I am using: https://amzn.com/B00CGVHJ32

Default Check these out!

Found these on the Wilkins RV fall flyer... They replace the "porch" lights and connect via Bluetooth, while still providing a light!
