Default Alaska

It looks like everyone covered all the bases. I'll just throw in two:

1) Depending on how far up north you go, you may want to get some black out curtains. I lived in Fairbanks for several years. It really stays light all day, all night..... Some people have difficulty falling into deep sleep and you'll end up waking up really groggy all the time. If you're doing a lot of driving, that's a concern.

2) Invest in a screen door. There is not a SINGLE mosquito anywhere in Alaska. They're all married and have LOTS of kids.

Now we know which TM it will be. It's an 08 3124kb. I have no idea what we're going to use for gas money. My daughter says she'll sell lemonade. She's already made the sign!

Default Bike Rack

Sounds like your trip will be fun.

I have a front mounted hitch for my F150 as my 2005 2720SL rear bumper
isnt strong enough. This works great! Also works great for hitching TM to get into tight spots.
Also working on rear platform by extending from 2' X 5" support beams. Will have finished in about 1 week so will send you pictures if you like. Beware of too much weight in back as it will effect tongue weight in front.
