I have gotten used to having all of the amenities of my smart phone (engine diagnostics, GPS/Sat-Nav/over 500 albums/Hands Free Phone) that I am retrofitting everything (except the 88 coupe which already has a CRT in the dash) with BT/Aux. (click on .sig to see the herd)
That way whichever car I drive, I just drop the smartphone in a holder and go.
Two years ago I thought that 7-8" Windows tablets were the Next Big Thing but while the 2015 models have been dumbed down to uselessness (1GB RAM is not enough for Win8) smart phones have gotten more capable (just went from a 3.5" screen to a 4.8" and is much easier to use/see).
Point is that IMNSHO the $1k-$3k "entertainment" packages in cars are kinda dumb because so much is tied to the car and not the occupant. All I really want is a good amp and speakers, BT, and an aux jack. Any more I mostly use the CD slot for a cell phone mount. Puts it in the right place.
So have had a BT radio I bought some time ago and just found the plug so why not in the TM ? Can plug in the TV to the aux in and boost for my headset. Win-Win

I may be dreaming this up,,,,but I swear I remember seeing a picuture of someone's TV mount that was made for over-the-wall of the bathroom next to the kitchen sink. If I remember correctly it was very nice with the TV articulated mount at the top, maybe a paper towel holder, and a boxed shelf for sink related items at the bottom. I believe it was constructed out of wood (maybe oak) and had some replies that reference how fine the woodworking was.
If anyone can point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it. If not, I'm going to fabricate one that I've dreamt-up this weekend.
Also, if anyone has their TM open and could measure from the top of the wall to the top of the kitchen sink counter, I would really appreciate it!
Thanks!

I also have a 2720SL but is a 27" LED monitor, not a TV. With my eyes is best on a two drawer chest between the fridge box and the slide. Can see from both the sofa and the chair. When travelling the monitor is in the TV and I use it at home when not.

I have a 'standard' 2720, not the 2720 SL, so I don't have the cabinet reference above. So I'm still looking for answers to the original questions as asked above.
1) If anyone can help and knows of the picture I'm thinking about (referenced in my prior post above), and if so a link or the pictures would be so helpful, and
2) What the measurement is from the top of the kitchen sink counter to the top of the bathroom wall (as my TM is currently folded down)?
I'm hoping to build this tomorrow (6/20), so your replies will very much appreciated.
Thanks!

Start here: http://www.trailmanorowners.com/foru...&highlight=LCD
There are some links to other threads in there, that describe what others have done before.
When I get home this afternoon I'll take that measurement for you -- my TM is open in the driveway currently.

On mine it is 32 1/2" from the top of the lav wall to the sink rail. Width may be an issue if you have the over-sink cabinet.
It is also 5 feet further from the couch.

Thanks Everybody, I had seen all of these except one, but still not the one I was thinking of. Seriously, maybe I've been thinking about the mod so much that I totally dreamt it up.
I think I'll just go for it, and post some pics later.
Thanks Again!

I put a picture of the one I made in post #17 of this thread. In the mean time I've done a mod to it. The way it was first made it was not easy to see except from right in front it. I replaced the part that connects the two vertical pieces with on that is wedge shaped to cause the tv to sit at an angle. Now it can be easley seen from any place in the front of the camper.

I see in your signature that you installed outside speakers on your TM. I've been thinking about putting speakers outside the TM also. How did you do it? Did you use jacks that you plug your speakers into or did you somehow mount waterproof speakers to the outside of the TM?
Some instruction for this would be appreciated. Thanks.
