I want to do that, but haven't figured out how. I assumed that until my status is changed to "site sponsor", I would not have the ability to do so.

Maria...I for one would love to see an on line tour of your TM as it is today. You have put so much work and obviously love into this project you should start at new thread and give us a tour... even if your not finished. The TM window area where you explain your curtain is lovely and I bet the whole TM is too.

Thank you so much! I'm in the middle of painting right now (just primer coat on those awful dark brown bottom walls, made such a difference!) and will post some new pics when that's done. I'm looking for a new clock and thinking about recovering the couch cushions, but that will be a project for next summer, I think. I just got a new camera so once the painting is done and I've figured out some of the bells and whistles on the new camera, I'll do a new post.

Maria,
I read the whole blog -- LOT of work! Some questions:
1. what is the size of the aluminum tubing used?
2. is the entire length of tubing filled with wood, or ?
3. Where the vertical and horizontal aluminum tubing intersect, is there any
connection between the two, i.e. are they attached to each other?
4. What size staples did you use to attach the "bag seals"?
5. Have you ever been able to re-establish contact with "happy trails"?

1. 1" tubing.
2. No, just the ends, maybe a piece of wood 4-6" long.
3. Yes, pilot holes drilled and screwed together - that was the purpose of the wood plugs, to have a solid place to drive screws.
4. 3/8" T-50 stainless steel
5. Yes, his email was still active as of a year or so ago, we exchanged a few emails and he was very helpful - it was on the pages referenced above from the "wayback" machine:
"...Again, if you want any info on anything on this page, or just want to say hi!, Send me some mail!
E-mail Me: [email protected]..."
Hope this helps!
