Default It's a boy!

Well the trailer arrived here as scheduled and the girls were certainly surprised! I think they found just about every cabinet and hiding spot in the trailer. Won't be heading out until the 27th, so it gives us some time to spend in the trailer at home. Tomorrow they help me wash it!
Even backed it into the garage on the first try..not bad for a newbie!
I can't thank you all enough for all the feedback and support.

Washing a TM.....now that's an experience........

We wash the front shell first...... pop that shell up then wash the back shell (while still fastened down). I do the rear shell top by crawling up on the forward bunk (still slid in, of course). Then pop-up the rear shell and wash the rest of the trailer. SHWEEEW!!!! I'm tired just thinking about it....

It certainly looks great in your garage! Please keep us posted on your first camping trip, and don't forget to take the camera and takes lots of pictures!

We started our kids camping when they were babies; DS was always OK camping, but DD had a few trying times. Once we got the TM she was pretty much always a happy camper (beats a tent and a pit toilet any day ). Some of our best times together as a family have been our camping trips; even when things went wrong (blowouts, etc.). We've always been able to make do and the kids learned from those experiences that you just have to get through those days and then it gets better, and sometimes wonderful!

Looked at one when we got our 2417. I would take the Mini over the Casita, any day. Don't have to convert dinette to go to bed (unless the grandson is with you). Also, it has the deck to sit on, if it has been raining, keeping your feet dry while enjoying the outdoors.

Within reason or the confines of your garage, you never can have too much room...you probably can make either one work well for you.

Isn't the TrailMini a queen bed? The 2720 is a queen. 2417 is a king, as is the 2922.
