Pam, I agree with Bob that the trouble is most likely with the inline fuse holder.

Your information about the power problem leads me to believe that the in-line fuse or its holder is bad. On our 2720SL one end of the fuse holder went to the positive battery terminal and the other end was 'wire-nutted' to a heavy gauge black wire.
Here's how to check it:
With the shore power disconnected, check the voltage at the battery anode (positive terminal). It will probably be about 12.5 volts. Now put your voltmeter probe into the 'wire nut' on the other fuse wire. I suspect there will be no voltage there because either the fuse is bad or the fuse holder has a bad connection. If that is the problem go to an auto parts store and buy a fuse holder that uses the spade type fuses, like the ones in the fuse panel. Get one that will handle at least 20 amps.

The cylindrical glass fuses have a habit of coming un soldered down under one of the metal ends and the fuse looks good but actually isn't.

One caution: when you insert the fuse into the new holder, be sure to get both ends of the fuse into the sockets. I accidentally inserted one end OK but the other was between the socket and the rubber housing. Sometimes it made good connection and sometimes it didn't.

Smile Everything new

After everything has been replaced, including plug at our garage we use for TM, everything works beautifully.
This is the order in which these things happened.

1.Battery bad
2.Converter bad
3.Battery bad
4.replaced converter
5.replaced battery
6.replaced outside plug at home

It appears at some point and time lightening struck our outside plug, keeping the new converter from working, we went thur 3 batteries, which were bad and one converter which was bad, don't know which went bad first, but everythings working fine now.
By the way the inline fuse never blew, figure that one out.

One thing to remember if the battery seems to not take a charge, take it back to Advance and bite the bullet and buy a Optima, dry cell, gotta be good they use them in race cars. And in speed boats.

A lot of this thread sounds similar to the problems we had and are still experiencing with our 3124ks. I will print this whole thread out to study it better. Hopefully when Tom is stronger and in less pain from his heart surgery we can address the problem. Looks like I need to buy a volt meter and I think an amperage meter.
