If you're only charging to 12.2, that's only about 60% of full of charge. We don't usually let ours get that far down!

This weekend I'm going to have to do some experimenting on the batteries and my charger. Maybe they weren't charged enough when I went to the camp since I only used the converter.

Then I couldn't run the gen long enough to fully charge them through the converter anyway (borrowed for 3 hours).

Time for some tests.

I bought two Duralast 6 volt golf cart batteries from Autozone. No complaints.
