We have a " New " to Us 2005. 2619 W/ A/C and I am getting ready to put it in storage and have been looking at different brands of covers .

I was looking at the 12295. , but now I will order a 12294 instead. Thanks tenlach .

Would a couple of straps totally around the camper from top to bottom ( Passed under the camper ) on both ends prevent that ?

The factory must be Very Busy as I just got an e-mail from CoverCraft that my cover was just picked up by Fed X .

I re-tied my 12294 ADCO with an upper and a lower rope, and it handles the wind well. I haven't seen the need for any additional straps going over and under, as the ADCO cover comes with 3 sewn-on integrated straps that pass under the unit and can be cinched down tight enough to prevent any ballooning.

I am collecting all the info that I can as my cover is due in on Wednesday and Inam storing my camper over 4 hours away and plan on covering it after Bird Day ( Black Friday )
Someone also sugested placing two milk crates with a couple of 2 X 4's on the roof over the A/C unit and the vents to protect the vents along with pool noodles around the tv antenna .

Sounds like some good ideas. I assume you are concerned about snow loading and the resulting potential water damage from melting. I'm not sure I'd be concerned about the A/C unit as it is pretty sturdy, but the vents may be worth it. One of my vents doesn't seat all the way, and even though it has never leaked, it is a concern. The TV antenna is definitely is worth shoring up with some pool noodles (I hate that thing!).

You are right about the snow load as we are moving from Coastal Virginia ( Virginia Beach ) to the base/side of the Blue Ridge Mountains .
Near an entrance to The Blue Ridge Parkway and we can't wait till next summer to check out all the campgrounds in the National Parks around us .

Be aware that a TM roof has a limited capacity to support a snow load, and water damage is the least of your worries. I believe (you probably should check) that the Owner's Manual says no more than a foot of dry snow. If you get 6 inches of dry snow, and then it rains, you may be in trouble. In New England, and in other parts of the country, everyone owns a snow rake, and clears the snow off when it is still light and easy to move. I'm not sure how you will manage that if the camper is 4 hours away, but think about it.

But my daughter just called me and she just rented a Budget Truck for Dec. 1st. weekend so I will be in an apartment only about 20 minutes away from the storage lot till we find a house we like .
Not easy to find 4 to 6 acres with a garage bigger the house . :-)

I do have a complete manual that I got with the TM when we bought it last year , I will have to see if I can find it and hoping it wasn't packed up yet ?

We are use to snow coming from Mass. , plus a couple of years in the Western Maine Mountains logging with my own skidder .
