2720 Toilet but no Shower?
I’ve been looking at upgrading and came across a 2720 without the typical bathroom setup.
This is 2006 and I’m trying to get more pictures. The seller isn’t very familiar with it but said he’ll get pictures of the toilet today.
There is an outside shower (not one inside). The seller says the toilet is under the bench in the back; same place they usually are.
My question is if this is a factory setup? I like the idea of just a toilet (and only an outside shower) but privacy is a bit of a concern.
Has anyone seen an interior like this or is it possibly a homemade remodel?
Thanks!

I doubt if this was done by the factory. It is also missing the cabinetry, across from the bathroom as well.

If it’s from the factory it’s definitely a one-off. You could probably tell by whether the wood color & grain matches. I see the cabinet (guessing for the toilet) has the same handle but it’s in a really weird spot down by the floor. It looks like they wanted the best of both worlds; 2 benches with a flip-up table (brackets are there but table is missing in pictire) that converts to a bed AND a front slide-out couch.

Definitely not a stock configuration. Back in 2006, the Tennessee factory was occasionally willing to do one-off designs like this. I don't think the South Dakota factory would do it today.
I'm not sure where the toilet is in your photo - on the left or the right - and I guess it doesn't matter. Probably the right, since that's where the plumbing is. The converter box is normally on the right, in the hall outside the (now missing) tub, down near the floor. Most likely the mod was done without changing this.
If you like the layout, go for it. I would expect it to have a substantial impact on value, both now, and later when you go sell it to the next owner. It is very much a niche design.
Would love to see more photos.

I'd look to see if there are holes in the curbside ceiling for where the shower curtain was hung. I removed mine a while back, but never covered the holes. Can you post more pics of the setup?
Is there a safety switch still back there?

I’m working on getting more pictures from the seller and may check it out in person tomorrow.
The toilet is in the factory location but under the bench. That’s the only picture I have of the rear area.
I like the idea of it all but don’t want to have a toilet just out in the open.
I’ll update if / when I get more pictures.

On the ceiling just above the edge of the bed, there is a track running across width of the trailer. Its purpose is to hold a sliding "privacy curtain", which should be included with the trailer. The edge of the bed is the wrong place for you, but you could unscrew it from the ceiling and relocate it to a better place. It is probably too short, coming down only to the bed. You could either lengthen the existing curtain, or make a new one to your preferred measurement. Either way, you could scavenge the existing track and slider hooks, which would make a retrofit a bit easier.
By the way, if the toilet is now under a bench, can the bench seat be lifted or removed somehow? If so, what is under it?

If the toilet is still in the original location, they may have set it up like popup camper do. Either a short wall or maybe some type of curation that encircles the area. Yes, more picks will give us lots of answers.

You don’t have to unscrew and relocate the track. I have a ton of it if you want to make your own curtain around the crapper.

I could go for something like that.
As it is the shower in mine is too small to be practical anyway.
I don't think I'll take it out but since we camp only in places that have a shower house on grounds anyway I doubt I'll ever use it.
