Thetford Hold-Down Clips

Some folks have asked where to get ahold of replacement hold-down clips (p/n 36966) for the Thetford recirculating toilet. As you may or may not know Thetford has discontinued support for this toilet and parts are becoming scarce. I found adventurerv.net has a few left in stock…

Thetford shows this part number to be for a pair of clips. Adventurerv.net has 3 sets in stock for $13.91 per set plus shipping as of the time of this post.

Good find, Shane. These clips (Item 6 in the picture) can easily be lost while you are going through a toilet remove-replace operation in the cramped bathroom of a TM. And though they are reasonably rugged, they can be broken, and once broken they cannot be fixed. Now that Thetford is no longer making them, they will be like gold if you need one. My own Google search comes up with NO other sources.

I know there are some people who like the recirculating toilet and thought maybe they would be trying to squirrel away some parts in case they have issues down the road.

PS- I called Adventure RV and they verified stock.
