We went with friends in his 2012 Ram 5.7 hemi from Colorado Springs to Pagosa Springs. Over Wolf Creek and LaVeta passes. Over 600 miles, we averaged 21 MPG, was getting 23 across the flat lands. Pretty impressive for a 400HP beast. I was curious what the towing MPG was. My 2006 Tundra is a good truck, but it's not noted for great MPG !!!

That is good, when we did Wolf Creek last year with our 4.8L 4X4 1500; it was about 13 mpg. We weren't towing anything. Left the TM at Silver Jack.
