Hi Bill, you should email or call and tell them make and model of cover you have. I have a Diamondback cover on my F150 and they said the URTC rack would allow it to open as the crossbar height is 24 inches at the highest setting.

That's a good idea, and I will do that. But the problem is going to be that, as the ad says, the top of the crossbar is at 24 inches. But the cross bar is a 2"X3" tube (plus a bit of trim) which means that the bottom of the crossbar is at 21 inches or a bit lower. The rear panel on my tri-fold is 22-1/2 inches wide, so it won't fit under the crossbar. That's a shame - it looked good for a moment.
