Finally!!! The tm 23 1992 is complete
Well its been a long 5 months since buying our TM 23 1992. Alot of blood and sweat really went into redoing it. So just a couple of things, the carpet is in 3 sections and Velcro down so we can take them out and either shake or wash. The curtains were all made by the wife, they have little anchors on them and are attached by Velcro also so easy to wash. She added ties to them so they roll up like roman shades. As for the beds we decided that air mattresses are the better option. For one the replacement mattresses would of broke our bank and by using air mattresses it gives us a little shelf right on the bed if we want. THANK YOU all who have helped with ideas and suggestions on this site, in me and the wife achieving getting it completed. For the before pics just look back a couple of threads and you will see them. Enjoy the Pictures and god willing this ole TM stays around for another 20 years now.

Hi -
I have to put in my 2 cents on this project:
You guys make this forum very proud of what you guys did. it is just amazing what can be done with a well built TM. I agree your TM should last a very long time and you should be very happy.
In my younger days I would get an old (MG) car and re-do it just like new and I was very proud of my MG's. I was a MG NUT BALL going to all the rallies.
Now I am a TM NUT BALL, If I was 20 years younger I would do the same thing you just did, and I really would enjoy doing it...
Thanks so much for posting and ENJOY!!!!
Dave
