Stolen 2008 2720sl
My 2008 2720SL was stolen yesterday. I wanted to post the information here as I know a lot of potential buyers visit this site. The TM is in excellent condition and has a custom decal on the back just under the stone guard that says Coopertown. If anyone comes across a great deal on a 2720SL without a title, or has a suspicious story, please contact me and I can easily identify the unit for you based on modifications. I’ll post more info and some pictures as soon as I am able, just wanted to get the word out quickly. I am located in Albuquerque, NM but I figure if they are going to try and sell it, since they are pretty rare, they wouldn't try it in this area.

That's terrible. Hope they get caught up with as well.
I wonder if there is any identification on our trailers that indicates the year model. Besides being written on the title.
If not, that might be another flag to look for, someone selling and they don't know exactly what year model it is.

That's a horrible story. I've been associated with TM campers since 2000 and can't remember a stolen incident. Very unique units and not easily fenced for cash. Small community of TM owners suggest a "new to them" owner is easily recognizable. Good luck. Keep us updated. I would also join the TM fans facebook page and share your story as well. The more BOLO ( be on the look out) the better.

Are several places you can find the serial number or a number that can be traced to the particular trailer but not going to post them on an open forum. One is a plate on the side of the trailer.

A Christmas Gift!
The TM has been recovered and is undamaged!! Yeah!!! Best Christmas gift I could ask for!!!! What a strange experience....I have stored my TM in a neighbor's driveway for two years now. The house went into foreclosure and the property manager gave me permission to continue parking it there - they liked that is helped the house look occupied. Apparently someone new in his company came by to check on the property and "assumed" the trailer was abandoned on the property, so he took it - just forgot to check with the manager first. Anyway, just wanted to explain the circumstances so everyone wouldn't worry because of the theft. New guy in big trouble, great relief for me and the holidays are back on track!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year's everyone!!!
