Default Kitchen Faucet

The kitchen faucet arm separated from the rest of the faucet and the threads are stripped. Has anyone replaced the kitchen faucet? Where did you get the replacement? How much trouble is it? Special tools needed?

You can get a replacement at practically any hardware store. It is a beast to get to the connections up under the sink, I have short and fat arms so I found it easiest to remove the hot water tank and work from the outside. If my arms had been another 2 inches longer or maybe if I had lost 20 pounds I could have gotten it from the inside. The heater is not that hard to remove. Just disconnect the gas line (close the valves on the LP) drain the tank (6 gal of water is heavy). Remove the water lines top and bottom and remove the wire connections and slide out. There is a thread that shows all of this OVER simplified explanation.

yes that is kinda funny, we had to change ours when we got it,
i got some long arms, and it was all i could to to reach it,
i even had the thought , how could someone with shorter arms even do this?
but i do like the hint on takeing out the water heater to get access to the back of things for future work, tks

I replaced ours a couple of years ago. I ordered the exact faucet from the supplier. You can ask TM to give you the supplier info. for your model..

It is tight below the sink but doable. I only used up about a month's worth of curse words.
