Screening for 'flap spaces'
Last fall, I inadvertantly discovered while closing the trailer on a warm day, that as I opened the flaps, a delightful breeze came through. I took 30' wide, black fiberglass screen material and cut it into two long 15" widths. I bought 9 ft. of it a 50 cents a foot. I folded each 15" width in half and over cast the raw edges together. I also overcast the folded edge for rigidity. I applied 'smooth' velcro piece to line up with the velcro on the TM walls. I contoured the piece at the doorway opening and at the wall at the refer. While my velcro was 'glue-on', I sewed it into place on the raw edge side. I just stuff the folded edge into the folds of the plastic flap. I also made a screen door earlier. No pictures, sorry, but would be glad to talk with anyone to give directions. We'll be in South Dakota next week and on into Glacier and Yellowstone. We much prefer moving air rather than using the AC. Some of our campsites will be boondocking and others with electric. The TM reallly has nice cross ventilation and this seems to add just a little more moving air.
