Default Roof Vent Cushion or Solar Cover

Previous posts and threads have addressed roof vent covers, but not roof vent cushions or solar covers. Both are intended to keep light out and provide some insulation benefit. They are currently on sale at Camping World (special internet price) and have good product reviews. However, since our TM is currently garaged and I can't remember the exact design of the roof vents (how recessed, screen location, etc.), I was wondering if anyone has used either of these products and if you encountered any problems or have any comments (both products seem to do about the same thing).
Thanks for any feedback.

I used the pillow cushion in my old camper but they won't work in my tm because the the vents in my tm are flush with the ceiling...except for the lights that hang lower.

Unless they changed the vent in the 2008 model that you have...there are going to be screens and and light fixtures in the way on the two vents with out the fantastic fan. The fantastic fan will
also have screen in the way. My friend Texas_Camper does use poster board or tag board over the roof vents so I think you could probably find a way to install the silver bubble wrap solar covers. You can also make these yourself by going to an "Everythings a Dollar" store and buying a bubble wrap windshield shade for a dollar.

My husband says.......that I have the thinest eyelids in the whole world......but for some reason I am not bothered by any light from the roof vents or the curtains.
