I would assume since it is an 06 TM that the PO replaced the fridge and cut the cost.
For what it's worth. I had two campers that were only propane/120V and ran them both on propane when traveling. I also run my TM on propane when the next CS is dry and running it on propane has been working well.
I don't think I would run it off and inverter? But that's just me?
But if all you are doing is short trips of 4 or lees hours. I might not even run the fridge? Pre-cool night before and freeze the meat. Our fridge in warn/hot weather might rise in temp by 4 degrees when we travel 4 hours without running the fridge.
