Slideout models and propane tanks
I have a question about sl models.
when you slide out the lower slide(couch) what happens to the propane tanks.
and are there any propane issues with this.

The propane tanks are the same size as a standard BBQ tank, but a different design. They lie on their side, rather than standing up. As the slider pulls out, it moves right over them. No, there are no issues.

Older models had notch-outs in the slider section for the tanks. The new set-up better utilizes space.

I think you may be confusing yourself. There isn't anything tricky or complicated going on. You may get a better mental picture from this picture attached here. You can see one of the two horizontal tanks, mounted in place. At the top of the picture is the front edge of the slider, ready to be pulled out above the tanks.

Good question . . . all models with a slide have their battery/batteries in the rear storage area.

Is it possible to buy vinyl covers that would fit over these tanks?
